The Desert Rose

This shot from NASA was taken on the 31st of October 2010 from Outer Space and it is for Egypt.
The Desert golden rose
This shot along with another beautiful one showing the eastern end of the Mediterranean were posted in twit pic by NASA astronaut Douglas Wheelock.
Gamal Hamdan used to describe Egypt as the desert rose based on the Nile valley which cuts through the desert like a flower or a rose with a green branch that is Fayoum  and it is in the desert rose or rather the golden desert rose.
