The miracle presidential intervention

OK today the day was saved in Egypt by the dramatic intervention of President Mubarak to stop the aggression against the freedom of press , yes indeed it is dramatic as Mona El-Shazely described , it is more than dramatic sorry ,it is ridiculous and proves the stupidity of this regime and also kindness of the Egyptian people

Let's go back in time , from two week ago, there was this young student who was going to fail in the Subject of Arabic and repeat the year as a punishment for writing a composition attacking G.W.Bush and the weakness of Egyptian regime , the young girl was going to face ,sorry already saw the ugly face of the rotten decayed routine Egyptian Education system , yet in the perfect time , in the peak of events when all Egyptians were afraid that the were going to lose this young girl under the bureaucracy of the regime , the presidential intervention came as a miracle when President suddenly knew the story only the day before of his intervention despite the fact the whole media whether written or seen spoke about Ala'a 's crisis !! Anyway the happy ending came and the President saved the day and told Ala'a to criticise as long as she wants !!

People are happy , President Mubarak is a Savior.

Now today after the circus that was held in the Parliament by the NDP members who are the majority and whose head are President Mubarak , just from few minutes or may be seconds like in the American action movies when the Juries are going to say that the defendant is guilty and should be executed by electric chair , just few seconds from the voting of the last article in the publishing law concerning the appeal The financial matters of governmental personalities ,President Mubarak called and gave his orders to prove that he is the man of his word , when he says no Journalist will be jailed in his era , then no Journalist will be jailed , and he gave his orders to minister Mofid Shahab to decrease the Penalty of the suspicion in the financial integrity of governmental officials and business men that was jail to double fine equal to 50,000 Egyptian pounds

Already the crisis reached to a dead end yesterday when most of the articles of the controversial law was approved yesterday by the majority of the MBs ,who were all NDPs ,already Journalists in Egypt protested and decided to escalated their protest to include the Journalists in Officail newspapers too with more escalation .

But thank God , the presidential Intervention came in the right moment in the right time at the right place , and thus The happy ending came and the President Saved the day

People are Happy ,President Mubarak is the Savior

The strange thing in this law that it was made by the government which is the administrative authority , also it is the NDP government as the NDP is the party of Majority in the Parliament , and all the NDP members approved it because it protects their corrupted life styles , but something here is missing the head of the NDP Party in Egypt is President Hosni Mubarak himself, this law was n't presented to the Parliament except his approval whether as the head of the administrative authority or the head of the Party ,we are not in a Parliament country where the Presidency is only a honourable position like in Italy or Germany !!

The more stranger is the changing attitude of the NDP members ,a change by 180' degrees , yesterday all those haters to the Journalism and bad journalists and today all those lovers and cheer leaders for the daring supportive decision of the President !! astonishing !!

  2. Zeinobia,

I have two explanation for this mystery:

    1) the government realized the real power of normal Egyptians demonstrating in front of the parliment. They realized they can not allow journalists, judges, university professors to stand united in front of their doors. The government had to diffuse this tension immediately and this came in the form of the president call. Just like the student (Alaa) story. The minister of no-education arleady approved the decision to punish her but because of the rising resistance among the public, the NDP had to withdraw and this again came in the form of Pres. Mubarak phone call.

    2) The second possibility: we really have not-that-clever officials that always come up with bad decision and fortunately for us Pres. Mubarak is always there to fix those officials mistakes.

You pick (1) or (2) or may be there is no logic any way in what is going and the life in Egypt is just moving randomly.
