The Iranian boats harassed U.S Navy ships

The Breaking news of the hour

Iranian boats harassed U.S Navy Ships in the strait of Hormuz  and warned them that they would their open their fires on them !!

I do not understand this Persian move , why they want to provoke the Americans

Do they want to send a message to Bush who will arrive in the region for last visit ??

Do they want to tell the Americans that this is their our Persian gulf , you Yankees should leave it to its owners or what ??

This harassment was not just a normal thing as the official statement of Iran said , because there was a probability that the U.S Ships would fire , even if it was 1% still , it is a 1%

You know it is funny because the sizes of the two parties are not equal , Small Iranian boats Vs. Big American ships ,already I do not know how the Iranians did not recognize those big ships as American !!!

Look I believe those American Ships should not be in Hormuz or in  the Gulf in the first place but the Iranians should not provoke the Americans now because some times desperate leaders take suicidal decisions

Anyhow I had my laugh when I read "Recognize yourself" thing !!??

  1. the iranians have dignity, something our governments don't have. but i sympathize with our dictators. they have to protect their dynasties and wealth. that's a human right in the official arab world, it's worth sacrificing the nation and their people for. the last guy who made a stand was Saddam. the Americans killed him and his sons. Can you get any more medieval?

  2. Let's just hope that Americans will bomb Iran, so as to save the innocent Iraqis being drilled by Iranians, and to save the the region from the Persian malice. By the way, it is called the Arabian gulf not the Persian gulf.

The best way out of the Arab and Iraqi dilemma is for the Americans and Iranians to fight with eachother.

It seems that Saddam hussien had an exceptionally long vision when he broke th back of Iran in the last Arab-Irani war vision . The man knew how malignant the Iranians and full of grudge of the Arabic civilsation especiallty Iraq which had been eduating the barabrians in Iran for 8000 years.

Just look the Iranian shrewd trickery whn they use their agents all over the region in alliance with Americans and Israleians to ply the reputation of the only who was capable of making the Arabs catch up, and regain our ancient glories.I am afraid the characterisation of soem for Saddam as Suni Muslim favouring Sunnis, is so much detached from reality, that is to say the least.

Sadam Hussien was secular pan Arabist who built the most secular, enlightened and developed Arab state in the 20th century.

He was trtying to drag Iraq by force into the 2oth century. 50% of top rank Baathists were shiites. The words shiite and sunni were forbidden to be mentioned in Iraq. Alas, the fundamentalist fantic backword revolution of the Ayatollahs , were marketing a pan shiite fundamnetalist ideology in Iraq so as to fulfill strategic gains for Iran. In this regard, politicised shiisim was firmly crushed. The same goes as well for politcal sunni Islam.

Regarding Kurds, Well, the Iraqi Jurds' cultural specifity was more acknowleded by the state than that of those i Turkey, Iran and Syria. Saddam built the Solemeniya university whereteaching was in Kurdish. He enforced the Kurdish language as a secondary one in all Iraqi schools.

Yet while Iraq was engaged in war of defence against the fanatic revolution exporting Iran, a rebel group of Kurds infiltrated Iranian special forces to work behinfd Iraqi lines- arounfd the same time Iraq was going through a ferocious El-FAO battles in the south against the Iranian human waves where 14-18 years old boys were promised paradice by Khomeini if they dye fighting Iraqis and infidels. Iraq was not simply facing a terrorist organisation like Al-Queda, but rather an entire nation that was hijacked by the shiite strand of Al-Queda thought.

  3. I am awefully sorry my honourable sister- Zeinobia, but it seems that the rest of my comment didn't come out, for some unknown reason. Anyway here it is:

By the way, do you have any idea how th peaceful unarmed Japanese Americans in world war 2 were treated or, how Gerrman Americans were treated in world war 1?

How do you think the U.S would react in case of a Mexican invasion?

Now, I shall list out the incidents of international recognition of Iraq's achivements: Saddam Hussien recieved a medal from the the unicef in 1982 for wiping out illiteracy in Iraq.In 1989 he recieved a certificate from the WHO staing that health care system in Iraq was the best in the midle east.A united nations development programme issued a report in 1989 prognosing Iraq to reach western European standards in terms of , GNP per capita, health care, educational standards and women rights.
notwithstanding all thses solid tangible accomplishments, American, Israeli and Iranian propaganda is distorting the reputation of the man. No wonder, the pan Islamic Mullahs Iran is the best ally of the U.S in its war against the most secular and developed Arab state. What else would Isael want but an Arab world dragged down by medival ideologies and religous fanaticism
By the way, free education and health care was available to everywhereeven in the remotest Kurdish mountain village.

  4. Zenouba? Want to know how to get rid your pesky stalker?

AKA: Drasen Spartek, Racoon the masked animal, Amre El Abayad

Never mention Iran in your blog again. He will keep coming back and repeating his tedious, annoying, boring --did I mention repetitive message.

I think now that Iranian woman dumped his repetitive boring persona and he is traumatized or something. It's amazing how obsessed he is in his single minded vision and opinions.

Still you shouldn't have to censor yourself to get rid of such a BORING REPETITIVE reader.

He should write his opinions on a blog of his own where he can meet like minded individuals and they can have an Iran-hating party online.

  6. @anonymous#1 , Iranians really have dignity because they still proud and keep their national identity , they did not let it go. I just do not agree about the Saddam part

@Drasen Spartek ivanovi a.k.a Amr , I do not see any benefit from the war between America and Iran except that it could lead in to third world war , with more blood shed from all parties ,it wil be the beginning of the end !!
again this is Saddam related post so please do not put his name in the commments
and I know what happened to the American Japenese in WWII and it was a disgrace , by the way how can Mexico attacks America and already it is very very weak , America is much more powerful than it , plus put more realistic comparisions , already I did not see what Iran did to America directly to require an invasion and a declaration of war that costs souls and money , this is not a game on the PC
p.s I love the picture of Donald Rumsfeld Smiling with Saddam and you forget what happened to Kuwait !!?? is Kuwait the Mexico in your comparison

@anonymous#2,I am tired that every time I write anything related to Iran or Persia I found Amr and his aliases writing pages of attack on Iran and praising Saddam , but Shall I do if everytime he writes in different name and If I believe in freedom of expression I must let those aliases comment as long as follow the rule

@anonymous#3 , he does not give up nor get tired

  7. Alright forget about Mexico.

Let's say for the sake of the argument that an Irish invading army landed on the British Isles in 1941- or the Azeri Turks in Iran rebelled and asked for independence at the peak of the Iraq-Iran war and inflitrated the Iraqi republican guards to outflank the Iranian army.

How do you think the Iranians or the Britsh would havedealt with the traitors.

The point I ma making is that nations resort to tough military porcedures when they are facing an existentialistic threat.

Regarding the picture of Saddam with Rumsfield. After the shattering defeat of Iran in 1988 and the surrender of the demagogue freak Ayatollah Khomeini, Iraq emerged as leathal power in the region. Saddam started to build a very sophistcated missile complex in the west of Iraq directed towards Israel. He then pushed forward with his Nuclear programme.

An American congressional delegation arrived in Bahgdad to explore the possibilties of a peace between Iraq and Israel. However the man isisted on hios agressive policies towards Israel and supporting Palestinians.
